Maximino Hitz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Ulises Raymundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yuquerí FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bordenave the free kick. A collision led to Yuquerí FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. After having played for 44 minutes, Nicolas Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bordenave's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Jacob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Jacob stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yuquerí FC's Nicanor Soter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Jacob in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yuquerí FC's zone, Maximino Hitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Soter came out of the goal and Maximino Hitz tried to chip the ball over his head. The supporters of Bordenave booed when Yuquerí FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Raymundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes of play, Bordenave's Nicolas Jacob made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Soter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edelmiro Louis in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Soter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jesus Orlondon hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Antonio Gartxot shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Nicanor Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
