Modesto Vigil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Abella, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 31 minutes, Saul Ourente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpo and the Ampolla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Olimpo got a freekick which was hit by Saul Ourente. Ampolla FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Armando Peyo scored to the left of an out of position Bernardino Poncio, making the score, 1-0. Saul Ourente struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Bernardino Poncio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpo.

The wind increased when Ceferino Abella made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Victoro during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernardino Poncio had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Jeronimo Raulo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardino Poncio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Olimpo's Albino Xabel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Poncio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Peyo in the 82nd minute of play forced Ampolla FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Cayetano Inge made a precise shot to the right of Bernardino Poncio. Ampolla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1.
