Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilberto Dodorol got the match started through his kick off. Pailemán FC's Lucio Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Dodorol in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Gilberto Dodorol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Desiderio Castulo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pailemán FC. Desiderio Castulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Tono, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Candido Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eugenio Todor made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pailemán FC's Justino Vargas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Pedroso in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Castulo saved Patagonia FC from getting behind. Lucio Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Dodorol, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes, Albano Senio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patagonia FC and the Pailemán FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pailemán FC booed when Patagonia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Senio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Dodorol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Ramirez having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Candido Pedroso was the one to do the kick off. Lucio Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Dodorol in the 56th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Patagonia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Mon to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Patagonia FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Todor. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Korytkowski got free with Lucio Ramirez in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnoldo Tono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Desiderio Castulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Castulo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Pedroso's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pailemán FC had played much better football throughout.
