Isidoro Cordarius came out of the goal and Julian Vergaray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ladislao Ferran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Mano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Julian Vergaray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GELP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA BANDA DEL INGENIERO the free kick. After a rather tough play, GELP's Julian Vergaray got a free kick in the 19th minute. Julian Vergaray hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The supporters of GELP booed when LA BANDA DEL INGENIERO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Luix didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Gerardo Mano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Ferran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gerardo Mano came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the LA BANDA DEL INGENIERO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Mano couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Mano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ladislao Ferran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odin Lindgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, LA BANDA DEL INGENIERO's Odin Lindgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ladislao Ferran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 89 minutes of play GELP's Julian Vergaray was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Odin Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ladislao Ferran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 played minutes GELP got a freekick which was hit by Dario Abel. LA BANDA DEL INGENIERO played a much better game than GELP and deserved their victory. The GELP players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
