One of Fighiera F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boca Juniors FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Adolfo Virila, was totally fooled by Boca Juniors FC's Guillermo Olivar, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bernardo Jobo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Damaso Ganix fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fighiera F.C.'s protests and gave Damaso Ganix a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Fighiera F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Ganix to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Jobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Adolfo Virila made a huge save. The Boca Juniors FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match.
