The Bombay Sapphire Dry fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 14thth minute of the game Adan Balendin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bombay Sapphire Dry's Modesto Arnalt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Amadeo Urtun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernabe Meder. The goal made the score 2-0. Bernabe Meder was a little too slow when Amadeo Urtun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Bombay Sapphire Dry's Amadeo Urtun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernabe Meder. That made the score 4-0 after 25 minutes of play. 28 minutes into the match, Pichincha FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Meder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Aznaro. Bombay Sapphire Dry's attentive Eliseo Hartz managed to snatch the ball when Timoteo Valery made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. In the 30th minute Ambrosio Aznaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Meder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabe Meder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amadeo Urtun went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Iker Onofre was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 36 minutes into the match, Pichincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Urtun came free, but Bernabe Meder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Aznaro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernabe Meder came out and tried to block the shot, but Ambrosio Aznaro slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 39th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Balendin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pichincha FC booed when Bombay Sapphire Dry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özcan Karluk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Paez, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 55th minute, Ambrosio Aznaro made a precise shot to the right of Bernabe Meder. Bernabe Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bombay Sapphire Dry fully deserved thier win.
