Gavilán's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carlo Catini 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Gavilán's goal looked a bit too open when Dolfo Montiel came free, but Jonathan Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Victorino Merexildo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Distiratsu. Gavilán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Merexildo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Dolfo Montiel came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Club Ferro Carril Oeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dolfo Montiel couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Ferro Carril Oeste's Carlo Catini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Distiratsu. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. When Ladislao Hibai came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Gavilán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Hibai couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Ioritz during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gavilán booed when Club Ferro Carril Oeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Ioritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Eliu in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Gavilán's Celestino Hondo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Carlo Catini struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jonathan Distiratsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Ferro Carril Oeste. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 59 played minutes Club Ferro Carril Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Guerrero. In the 63rd minute Carlo Catini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Distiratsu came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Ferro Carril Oeste's Carlo Catini. But to his dismay, Carlo Catini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jonathan Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Catini in the 70th minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Club Ferro Carril Oeste's Dolfo Montiel made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Distiratsu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celestino Hondo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Aurelio Eleder struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jonathan Distiratsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Ferro Carril Oeste. Gavilán's Jonathan Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolfo Montiel in the 82nd minute of play. Dolfo Montiel succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. Jonathan Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Catini, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Carlo Catini scored 7-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Distiratsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorino Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jonathan Distiratsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Ferro Carril Oeste's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
