Los balijas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Crispo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baltasar Bortzaioriz hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Los balijas's Victorio Florinio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santos Incendio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 18 minutes in the game, Diego Faro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Santos Incendio having to interfere. Inocencio Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Moise having to interfere. With a little luck, Matambre's Santos Incendio got control of the ball when Victorio Florinio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victorio Florinios short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Santos Incendio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Matambre's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Crispo came free, but Santos Incendio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Los balijas booed when Matambre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Castulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Matambre's Inocencio Olo got a free kick in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Matambre's zone, Victorio Florinio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Incendio came out of the goal and Victorio Florinio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Matambre getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Norberto Eder hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Kai Betten kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Los balijas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Inocencio Olo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 60 minutes into the match, Diego Faro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Matambre's Santos Incendio. Santos Incendio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 62 played minutes Matambre got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Eder. Matambre's Santos Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Florinio in the 63rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Baltasar Bortzaioriz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gonzalo Moise. Baltasar Bortzaioriz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Matambre's Marciano Castulo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Florinio in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santos Incendio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Matambre's Leandro Clis got a free kick in the 79th minute. Victorio Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Santos Incendio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner ended in Prospero Endura almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Matambre's Santos Incendio did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Bortzaioriz got free with Gonzalo Moise in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
