When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Igor Herauso sped through Gimena's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zacarias Senon. Cecilio Erasto charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Erasto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Gimena:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chirulitas Jrs:s goal. In the 33rd minute, Rogelio Jax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chirulitas Jrs's Mateo Jerardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Ramos in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Gimena's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Herauso came free, but Zacarias Senon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Rudolfo scored 3-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Jerardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Herauso in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Senon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zacarias Senon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gimena's zone, Roderick Ter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Senon came out of the goal and Roderick Ter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chirulitas Jrs booed when Gimena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Erasto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Ordono hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Zacarias Senon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roderick Ter went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute, Faustino Rudolfo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mateo Jerardo, passed just outside the right post. Mateo Jerardo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Faustino Rudolfo sent off a good shot on target. Zacarias Senon came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Chirulitas Jrs's Igor Herauso. But to his dismay, Igor Herauso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chirulitas Jrs fully deserved thier win.
