In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind JRR's goalkeeper Gaspar Lamberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. JRR's Gaspar Lamberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Herauso in the 6th minute of play. Gaspar Lamberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Herauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Arnoldo Urko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. JRR's Gaspar Lamberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Steven in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Igor Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Lamberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Chirulitas Jrs got a corner. JRR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaspar Lamberto came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Chirulitas Jrs's Alfredo Abaunza. But to his dismay, Alfredo Abaunza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in JRR's zone, Ermegildo Ipar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Lamberto came out of the goal and Ermegildo Ipar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, Chirulitas Jrs's Roderick Ter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Lamberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 47 minutes into the game, Chirulitas Jrs's Ermegildo Ipar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Chirulitas Jrs's Mateo Jerardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Lazcano in the 57th minute of play. Jonas Steven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Gaspar Lamberto made a huge save.
