Juan Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Lamberto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Rudolfo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Lamberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gimena's Severino Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Rudolfo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Gaspar Lamberto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Gimena's Faustino Rudolfo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Gaspar Lamberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Rudolfo in the 42nd minute of play. Severino Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Lamberto having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Gimena's zone, Arnoldo Urko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Senon came out of the goal and Arnoldo Urko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Faustino Rudolfo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Gaspar Lamberto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 93 minutes, Juan Xabat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gimena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Xabat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gimena's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
