Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Everardo Stanislao kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, C.A. MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Abecia came free, but Jairo Sarracino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Abecia in the 6th minute of play forced C.A. MZ's goalkeeper Jairo Sarracino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Chacarita Juniors's Vicente Abecia in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. MZ's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Gizon scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horacio Omero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute Nunez Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Omero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Omero came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. MZ's Placido Orland. But to his dismay, Placido Orland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Feliciano Chorche came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Chacarita Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Chorche couldn't finish the play. Jairo Sarracino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Abecia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Gizon scored 1-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horacio Omero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute of the match Ciro Gaspard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Sarracino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Chacarita Juniors's Feliciano Chorche got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Sarracino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vicente Abecia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 37 minute of play. Ciro Gaspard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jairo Sarracino. C.A. MZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Ciro Gaspard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Sarracino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Chacarita Juniors's Horacio Omero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Orland in the 46th minute of play. After the first half C.A. MZ were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Abecia was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Vicente Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Duarte got free with Horacio Omero in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute Vicente Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, C.A. MZ's Horacio Omero threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Gizon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Feliciano Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Sarracino having to interfere. Chacarita Juniors's Horacio Omero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Stanislao in the 71st minute of play. MZ's Placido Orland ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Horacio Omero. Horacio Omero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. In the 80th minute Vicente Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliciano Chorche took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Sarracino. Jairo Sarracino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Feliciano Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Sarracino having to interfere. Feliciano Chorche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Feliciano Chorche came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Chacarita Juniors fans jumped to their feet. Jairo Sarracino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Abecia in the 94th minute of the match. Horacio Omero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Stanislao in the 95th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
