Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Pasqual in the 6th minute of play forced Quilachanquil's goalkeeper Nestor Sendoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Quilachanquil's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Pasqual came free, but Nestor Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, one of Ciénaga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ciénaga. The referee gave Quilachanquil a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cosme Berbiz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ciénaga's Oscar Esiquio. 0-1. Cosme Berbiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Esiquio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Enekoitz during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacinto Enekoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Ciénaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Enetz to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Lino Pasqual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ciénaga booed when Quilachanquil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ciénaga's zone, Celedonio Steven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Esiquio came out of the goal and Celedonio Steven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Berbiz in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Esiquio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Leonides Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Lino Pasqual made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Medina in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Esiquio saved Ciénaga from getting behind. Cosme Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Oscar Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosme Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Oscar Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Berbiz in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Ciénaga's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Medina came free, but Oscar Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciénaga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cosme Berbiz 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. If Samuel Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes, Dalmacio Dodorol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciénaga and the Quilachanquil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dalmacio Dodorol kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Samuel Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilachanquil's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Esiquio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cosme Berbiz came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Quilachanquil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Berbiz couldn't finish the play. Nestor Sendoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Cordarrell in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Ciénaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Tonio to maneuver through the defense. Quilachanquil were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ciénaga to leave the ground with a draw.
