In the 11th minute Benito Aragones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Dominic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Fonda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Artemio Txema skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Salvador Fonda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artemio Txema came out and tried to block the shot, but Salvador Fonda slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. A collision led to Deportivo Burrito getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gilberto Koldobika hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Benito Aragones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Dominic was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 28th minute Benito Aragones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Dominic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Artemio Txema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Sanlore got a freekick which was hit by Santo Chap. Victor Dominic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Maju in the 41st minute of the match. Salvador Fonda in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Artemio Txema, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Sanlore defense, Bartolo Illan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Dominic. The Sanlore fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Dominic should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Aureliano Maju could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Victor Dominic made a huge save. Artemio Txema didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salvador Fonda went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When Gervasio Resto fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanlore's protests and gave Gervasio Resto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sanlore getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gervasio Resto hit a great ball. Salvador Fonda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artemio Txema having to make a save. Victor Dominic made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Aureliano Maju sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Bartolo Illan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Dominic. Sanlore's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Illan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Fonda in the 86th minute of play forced Deportivo Burrito's goalkeeper Artemio Txema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Jimeno Pacorro put in a rough tackle. 89 minutes into the game, one of Sanlore:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Victor Dominic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Maju in the 96th minute. Romulo Macerio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artemio Txema. Deportivo Burrito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Burrito walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
