Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Vilgo FC's Lisandro Ubelteso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Rigoberto Abecia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Colas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Feliz went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Vilgo FC's Ariel Tirso got a free kick in the 12th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Vilgo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arild Larsen came free, but Abel Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Fabiano FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Igor Moise hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arild Larsen in the 29th minute of play forced Vilgo FC's goalkeeper Abel Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Colas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the match, Arild Larsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Colas. Vilgo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arild Larsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Arild Larsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Colas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vilgo FC's zone, Rodrigo Feliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Colas came out of the goal and Rodrigo Feliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arild Larsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vilgo FC's zone, Igor Moise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Colas came out of the goal and Igor Moise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Abel Hondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fabiano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arild Larsen to strike the kick off in the second half. Arild Larsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Abel Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Vilgo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Figueroa came free, but Abel Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fabiano FC's Adrian Salamon got a free kick in the 56th minute. Abel Colas came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Fabiano FC's Adrian Salamon. But to his dismay, Adrian Salamon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 61st minute, Rodrigo Feliz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abel Colas, passed just outside the right post. Arild Larsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Abel Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Abecia's late challenge caught a Fabiano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Abecia helped the player get up and apologised. Rigoberto Abecia hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Fabiano FC's Arild Larsen got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 66 minutes, Rodrigo Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fabiano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Feliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel Colas was a little too slow when Arild Larsen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-5. Abel Hondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Colas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodrigo Feliz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 79 minute of play. Arild Larsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Colas having to interfere. Abel Hondo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Abel Colas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fabiano FC. In the 87th minute Arild Larsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arild Larsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Abel Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Salamon might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Colas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Salamon ran back to his position shaking his head. Abel Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arild Larsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Vilgo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fabiano FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
