Clemente Erasto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Balboa's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Leoncio came free, but Clemente Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Loren made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ignacio Luzea sent off a good shot on target. Epifanio Loren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Luzea in the 18th minute. Tortugas's Epifanio Loren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Tortugas from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Lando in the 26th minute of play forced Balboa's goalkeeper Clemente Erasto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Balboa's Arnaldo Txeru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Loren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ignacio Luzea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Epifanio Loren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Robert Steenfjæld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnaldo Txeru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Epifanio Loren. That made the score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Lando to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Arnaldo Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Loren came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Balboa's Arnaldo Txeru. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Txeru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Balboa's Ignacio Luzea in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tortugas's goalie prevented a goal. Epifanio Loren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Txeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sixto Lizar charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Lizar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Tortugas got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Lizar. Gogo Raulo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Adrian Lando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Clemente Erasto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tortugas's Epifanio Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Txeru in the 79th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Luzea in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Loren saved Tortugas from getting behind. A collision led to Tortugas getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Christian Egun hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Ignacio Luzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
