The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arsenio Huly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Errolan in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvestre Errolan in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arsenio Huly saved Urdinarrain from getting behind. After 14 minutes, Teodosio Edorta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urdinarrain and the Frías players grew even worse after the yellow card. 28 minutes into the match, Silvestre Errolan notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Urdinarrain's Arsenio Huly. Arsenio Huly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teodosio Edorta was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Teodosio Edorta kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Silvestre Errolan sped through Urdinarrain's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arsenio Huly. Arsenio Huly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Errolan in the 39th minute of the match. Urdinarrain's Arsenio Huly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Errolan in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Silvestre Errolan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Huly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Generoso Loco to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Frías got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Domingues. Generoso Loco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gregorio Estebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Errolan in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arsenio Huly, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 66 minutes, Fausto Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urdinarrain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Dino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvestre Errolan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Arsenio Huly skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Frías's Angelo Tiniebra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arsenio Huly. That made the score 0-6 after 69 minutes of play. Cristobal Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Urdinarrain's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Tiniebra came free, but Arsenio Huly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Rada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Huly having to interfere. Frías made a substitution. Hermengildo Celino replaced Saturnino Astudillo. The supporters of Frías booed when Urdinarrain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frías's Gregorio Estebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Loco in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Frías's Patricio Domingues got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 98 played minutes Frías got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Pacho. In the 99th minute, Fausto Dino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frías played a much better game than Urdinarrain and deserved their victory. The Urdinarrain players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
