Médanos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Rioja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Paskal in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Dominguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Esteban Paskal took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Gerardo Dominguez to make any attempt to save it. Angelo Gorri walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Jonatan Ortzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
