Canning AFC's Faustino Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Michael in the 9th minute of play. When Anacleto Montes fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivadavia AFC's protests and gave Anacleto Montes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rivadavia AFC's Anacleto Montes got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Canning AFC's Benito Aurken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nemesio Errando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Anibal Tomi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canning AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rivadavia AFC the free kick. Anibal Tomi kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Rivadavia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Ermano. After 20 played minutes Rivadavia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Montes. Nemesio Errando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Tomi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustino Licerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Gamus in the 25th minute. Anacleto Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Anibal Tomi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemesio Errando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anibal Tomi to make the kick off. Raimundo Gamus struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Faustino Licerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivadavia AFC. After 56 minutes of play Rivadavia AFC's Anacleto Montes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 57th minute, Anacleto Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Gamus in the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Canning AFC's zone, Raimundo Gamus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Licerio came out of the goal and Raimundo Gamus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Rivadavia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Tomi came free, but Nemesio Errando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Fulgencio Ermano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivadavia AFC and the Canning AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nemesio Errando made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Benito Aurken sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ezequiel Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivadavia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Lucila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Licerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Raimundo Gamus made a precise shot to the right of Faustino Licerio. Canning AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Raimundo Gamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Licerio having to interfere. Raimundo Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Faustino Licerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Ramiro Gombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Licerio. Canning AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Gombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 94th minute Raimundo Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Raimundo Gamus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
