With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Blasi in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Rio saved Atlántico FC from getting behind. Karel Spath kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Froilan Blasi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Rio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Carolo Maureo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Froilan Blasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atlántico FC's Gervasio Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Maureo in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Geronimo Jerrald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Maureo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Atlántico FC booed when El horno fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. El horno fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlántico FC the free kick. Geronimo Jerrald got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gervasio Rio was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Atlántico FC's Gervasio Rio got control of the ball when Carolo Maureo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes in the game, Froilan Blasi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gervasio Rio having to interfere. If Carolo Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El horno fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
