The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinaras Urbonavičius got free with Ramon Feliu in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Independiente's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Bernabe Gilesindo scored to the left of an out of position Ramon Feliu, making the score, 1-0. Atilano Errando's late challenge caught a Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Errando helped the player get up and apologised. Atilano Errando hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Severino Silbestre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18 minutes, Severino Silbestre made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ampacama's Wilfredo Cefero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute of the match Jairo Munio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramon Feliu skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Severino Silbestre sped through Ampacama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilfredo Cefero. Ramon Feliu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinaras Urbonavičius in the 34th minute. Wilfredo Cefero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Silbestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Silbestre in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Cefero saved Ampacama from getting behind. Independiente were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Ampacama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jimeno Gaueko took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jimeno Gaueko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilfredo Cefero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Ampacama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Independiente were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Silbestre to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Cefero acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Placido Marin. The supporters of Independiente booed when Ampacama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Errando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Cefero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Silbestre in the 57th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Evelio Estebano mouthed his way into the referee's book. With his leg Wilfredo Cefero managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Independiente's Severino Silbestre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 93rd minute, Dinaras Urbonavičius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ampacama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4.
