Spectators: 7147 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 70) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sergio Joey took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes Constituyentes got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Lastur. Armando Qwinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Gorri in the 7th minute of the match. Sergio Joey charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Joey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armando Qwinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Romulo Abascal took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Qwinton. Armando Qwinton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Constituyentes's Celedonio Rojelio got a free kick in the 18th minute. Armando Qwinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Joey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Armando Qwinton made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Fernandez in the 37th minute of play forced Constituyentes's goalkeeper Armando Qwinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Qwinton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Joey went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Demetrio Tundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayetano Cefero was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Verón's Haroldo Gorri got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Tiburcio Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Cefero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute Cayetano Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbano Pere was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Gavino Ferrer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gavino Ferrer really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Urbano Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Cefero in the 66th minute of play. Armando Qwinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Joey in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Sergio Joey put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Qwinton. Haroldo Gorri hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Verón's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Cefero came free, but Urbano Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cayetano Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Constituyentes's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Cefero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Pere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot by Eustacio Nardo from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Urbano Pere's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 97 minutes into the match, Verón's goalkeeper Urbano Pere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiburcio Marcones. Verón were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Constituyentes for a fine match.
