If Tolek Szkaradek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valon Quiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kostas Makrikostas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Valon Quiero made a huge save. In the 14th minute Hermengildo Colas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valon Quiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Defensores Unidos Zarate defense, Kostas Makrikostas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valon Quiero. The Defensores Unidos Zarate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valon Quiero should have stopped the shot. Valon Quiero stood somewhat misplaced when Hermengildo Colas came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. Isidoro Emeterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Manuel Javiar charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Javiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Manuel Javiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Pes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isidoro Emeterio. Club Atletico Niagro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valon Quiero was a little too slow when Hermengildo Colas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. Serafino Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Isidoro Emeterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermengildo Colas made a kick off. Desiderio Lauren hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Defensores Unidos Zarate's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Colas came free, but Valon Quiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostas Makrikostas took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valon Quiero. Valon Quiero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 67th minute, Serafino Suarez made a precise shot to the right of Isidoro Emeterio. Club Atletico Niagro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 78 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Niagro's goalkeeper Isidoro Emeterio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Suarez. Valon Quiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Javiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Defensores Unidos Zarate's Valon Quiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Colas in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Colas in the 82nd minute of play forced Defensores Unidos Zarate's goalkeeper Valon Quiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valon Quiero came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Niagro's Hermengildo Colas. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Colas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Victor Cordearo charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Cordearo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atletico Niagro booed when Defensores Unidos Zarate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Cordearo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Colas might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valon Quiero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Colas ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Colas in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valon Quiero saved Defensores Unidos Zarate from getting behind. There was no doubt that Club Atletico Niagro were the better team. Club Atletico Niagro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
