After 10 played minutes Solchu Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Amato. In the 14th minute, Hugo Abarca reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulises Ostots. The goal made the score 1-0. German Natanael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Marz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Alejo Ubarna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. German Natanael was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some careless play in the Lonquimay defense, Alejo Ubarna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of German Natanael. The Lonquimay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that German Natanael should have stopped the shot. German Natanael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Marz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the game, Angelo Javiero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Ulises Ostots was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Abarca was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Solchu Racing Club's Camilo Marz made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Natanael was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th match minute, Solchu Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Amato to maneuver through the defense. German Natanael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Marz in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Lonquimay getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Angelo Javiero hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Steven got free with German Natanael in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. German Natanael came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Solchu Racing Club's Gaudencio Amato. But to his dismay, Gaudencio Amato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Lonquimay's German Natanael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Lonquimay from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the game, Rene Olo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Solchu Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lonquimay the free kick. After a rather tough play, Solchu Racing Club's Rene Olo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lonquimay's German Natanael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Marz in the 79th minute of play. Gaudencio Amato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but German Natanael made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaudencio Amato got free with German Natanael in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Amato recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of German Natanael. Gaudencio Amato showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-8. In the 95th minute, Prudencio Cerilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Solchu Racing Club played a much better game than Lonquimay and deserved their victory. The Lonquimay players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
