Cecilio Miro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Albino Solustiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Talleres de Cordoba booed when Los Demás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Gay didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Lon in the 13th minute of play forced Los Demás's goalkeeper Albino Solustiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marian Gay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Talleres de Cordoba's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Gay came free, but Pedro Beat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Beat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Mercurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Los Demás were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Adolfo Mercurio might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Beat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Mercurio ran back to his position shaking his head. If Casimiro Tajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Astor Felipo during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres de Cordoba's zone, Casimiro Tajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Beat came out of the goal and Casimiro Tajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marian Gay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Benjamin Satordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Mercurio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Pedro Beat 84 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Rosendo Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Solustiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Solustiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Los Demás left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Talleres de Cordoba.
