The audience thought a goal was coming when Florin Cernea got free with Baldomero Vela in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Jon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Barros in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Maggolo booed when El Veerdaaderoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Jaume didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes El Veerdaaderoo got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Avellaneda. Cristian Jaume kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Ricardo Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Barros in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Barros to make the kick off. Ricardo Jon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Barros in the 53rd minute of play. Daniel Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Jon having to make a save. 59 minutes into the game, El Veerdaaderoo's Cleto Illan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Vela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Daniel Barros's late challenge caught a El Veerdaaderoo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Barros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Maggolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Barros to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes, Claudio Belasko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maggolo and the El Veerdaaderoo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Maggolo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Claudio Belasko hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Errapel during the 71st minute. Guido Errapel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maggolo's Guido Errapel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mariano Iigo, made in the 74th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Gauargi in the 75th minute of play forced El Veerdaaderoo's goalkeeper Ricardo Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Jeremias Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When 江剑雄 fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Veerdaaderoo's protests and gave 江剑雄 a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes El Veerdaaderoo got a freekick which was hit by 江剑雄. Daniel Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, El Veerdaaderoo's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Barros came free, but Ricardo Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Cecilio Gauargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Maggolo's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Maggolo may have spent more time on the ball, but El Veerdaaderoo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
