An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Erauso in the 10th minute of play forced El Veerdaaderoo's goalkeeper Ricardo Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of El Veerdaaderoo booed when Cafferata AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Florin Cernea came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the El Veerdaaderoo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Cernea couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cafferata AFC's zone, Cleto Illan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Jurdan came out of the goal and Cleto Illan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Cafferata AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jurdan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 江剑雄. In the 26th minute, Epifanio Aurken made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Jon. El Veerdaaderoo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 29 played minutes Cafferata AFC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Aurken. Ricardo Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Lluques in the 35th minute of the match. Florin Cernea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, El Veerdaaderoo's Florin Cernea got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, El Veerdaaderoo's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Mercurio came free, but Ricardo Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Pedro Lluques made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Jon. El Veerdaaderoo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delmiro Mercurio was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Jon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Mercurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Epifanio Aurken got free with Ricardo Jon in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Cafferata AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Delmiro Mercurio hit a great ball. El Veerdaaderoo's Cleto Illan pulled a muscle in his back after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Cafferata AFC's Ceferino Baraquiel got a free kick in the 61st minute. Florin Cernea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 74 minutes into the game, Cafferata AFC's Epifanio Aurken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Jon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 81st minute, Florin Cernea made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Jurdan. Cafferata AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Tiburcio Jurdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Cernea in the 89th minute of play. When the match was over Cafferata AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Veerdaaderoo throughout the match.
