Baldomero Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Sá in the 5th minute of the match. Froilan Karlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Barros in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Maggolo's Cecilio Gauargi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Froilan Karlo. Froilan Karlo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Froilan Karlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Gauargi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Hilario Gora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Froilan Karlo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Baldomero Vela came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Pailemán FC's Uriel Umbruso. But to his dismay, Uriel Umbruso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 29th minute Hilario Gora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bernardo Perez fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maggolo's protests and gave Bernardo Perez a yellow card for diving instead. 31 minutes into the match, Pailemán FC's Eusébio Sá sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Vela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Maggolo got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Gauargi. Cecilio Gauargi was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cecilio Gauargi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Uriel Umbruso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomero Vela having to make a save. Eusébio Sá shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusébio Sá was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Barros in the 54th minute of play forced Pailemán FC's goalkeeper Froilan Karlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Vela had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Eusébio Sá from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 56 minutes into the match, Maggolo's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Sá came free, but Baldomero Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Guido Errapel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Karlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Belasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Guido Errapel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Froilan Karlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Daniel Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Karlo was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Pailemán FC's zone, Daniel Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Karlo came out of the goal and Daniel Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Daniel Barros made a precise shot to the right of Froilan Karlo. Pailemán FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 96th minute Ramiro Huly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Karlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Maggolo fully deserved thier win.
