In the 16th minute Celestino Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Jaume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Dalmu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Saturnino Gonzales 34 minutes into the match. Los Orejas Boys's Leopoldo Jaume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Lartaun in the 40th minute of play. After 43 minutes, Casimiro Ted mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool FC and the Los Orejas Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Nahia made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Gonzales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Arnalt's late challenge caught a Los Orejas Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Arnalt helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Arnalt. After having played for 87 minutes, Valentin Soter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Orejas Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Soter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
