Raimundo Chan hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Carrera's 高瑜骏 got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorino Mercurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvador Tohias's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Tohias in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Mercurio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot by Remigio Itzaina from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Bernardo Frantzes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 28th minute 高瑜骏 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Plátanos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Tohias came free, but Victorino Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Tohias in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Victorino Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Tohias in the 39th minute of play. Victorino Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Tohias, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Carrera's Bernardo Frantzes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Ler in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Salvador Tohias made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Plátanos FC's Victorino Mercurio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Carrera were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carolo Ler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Plátanos FC's Victorino Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 高瑜骏 in the 61st minute of play. Salvador Tohias's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Victorino Mercurio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Victorino Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 高瑜骏 in the 66th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Carrera's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Chan came free, but Bernardo Frantzes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Carrera's zone, Raimundo Chan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Frantzes came out of the goal and Raimundo Chan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Salvador Tohias sped through Plátanos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victorino Mercurio. Carolo Ler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bernardo Frantzes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Carrera booed when Plátanos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Salvador Tohias could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Victorino Mercurio however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Plátanos FC's zone, 高瑜骏 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Mercurio came out of the goal and 高瑜骏 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the game, Salvador Tohias lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Victorino Mercurio. When the match was over Carrera could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Plátanos FC throughout the match.
