With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Clancy in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Quiroga saved Club Atletico Lujanindio from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Fausto Ramond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingos Quiroga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 18 minutes into the game, Arbolito FC's Geraldo Clancy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingos Quiroga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Arbolito FC's Ivar Winheim in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Lujanindio's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geraldo Clancy in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Charis Barbounakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Mancio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Ricardo Fix was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Club Atletico Lujanindio:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arbolito FC:s goal. Domingos Quiroga had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Geraldo Clancy's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Arbolito FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nando Alonso in the 42nd minute. The corner ended in Nando Alonso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atletico Lujanindio's Domingos Quiroga did a great save. After having played for 45 minutes, Fausto Ramond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arbolito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Ramond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Lujanindio defense, Geraldo Clancy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingos Quiroga. The Club Atletico Lujanindio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Quiroga should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Tirso made a kick off. Jesus Oliverio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Domingos Quiroga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geraldo Clancy got in the 55th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Domingos Quiroga handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Fausto Ramond recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Domingos Quiroga. Fausto Ramond showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 66thth minute of the game Fausto Ramond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Lujanindio's Domingos Quiroga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute of the match, Geraldo Clancy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Domingos Quiroga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Ramond in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Quiroga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geraldo Clancy got free with Domingos Quiroga in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Lujanindio's Sergio Hanni got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Lujanindio's zone, Fausto Ramond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Quiroga came out of the goal and Fausto Ramond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Quiroga came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Arbolito FC's Fausto Ramond. But to his dismay, Fausto Ramond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geraldo Clancy in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Quiroga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geraldo Clancy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Domingos Quiroga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fausto Ramond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Clancy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Domingos Quiroga made a huge save. In the 92nd minute Fausto Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Quiroga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Quiroga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geraldo Clancy in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Fausto Ramond reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domingos Quiroga. The goal made the score 0-8. Arbolito FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
