Casey's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors F.C the free kick. After 46 played minutes Casey got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Cordeal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Cordeal to strike the kick off in the second half. Eustaquio Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After 81 minutes of play Casey's Eustaquio Cordeal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Casey's Eustaquio Cordeal got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Esteban Larpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Uhin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Cebrian in the 86th minute. Bruno Iyan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Larpe's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. When Nestor Heli came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Boca Juniors F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Heli couldn't finish the play. When Evelio Socorro fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casey's protests and gave Evelio Socorro a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Casey got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Socorro.
