After 24 minutes, David Giro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Furia and the Sportivo Cristal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee showed Franco Vazquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sportivo Cristal getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Franco Vazquez hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match, Epifanio Darien tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Vachon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Matai got free with Bruno Vachon in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the game, Felix Fiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Cristal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Furia the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Isaias Matai made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in La Furia's zone, Isaias Matai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Vachon came out of the goal and Isaias Matai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alonzo Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Hitz took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Vachon. Bruno Vachon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Eleuterio Gaitan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Timo having to interfere. In the 65th minute Isaias Matai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Vachon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Narciso Tomi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 minutes, Isaias Matai made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. La Furia's Bruno Vachon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Vachon came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Cristal's Narciso Tomi. But to his dismay, Narciso Tomi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Franco Vazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaias Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bruno Vachon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Furia's Bruno Vachon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Tomi in the 87th minute of play. Franco Vazquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Vachon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Vazquez ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Narciso Tomi notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of La Furia's Bruno Vachon. Bruno Vachon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 94 played minutes La Furia got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Perez. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Furia's goalkeeper Bruno Vachon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to La Furia getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Natalio Gorka hit a great ball. Sportivo Cristal's Narciso Tomi got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
