Adolphe Covington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jorge Hitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nunez Gipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Mero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Gorri's late challenge caught a TeamCat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Gorri helped the player get up and apologised. Isaac Gorri kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Severino Gaitan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nunez Gipuzkoa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adolphe Covington scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Hitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Nestor Mendiko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nunez Gipuzkoa, 2-2. If Rosendo Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Adolphe Covington managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rompeculos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolphe Covington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the TeamCat defense, Rosendo Felipo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Hitz. The TeamCat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Hitz should have stopped the shot. After 38 minutes, Adolphe Covington made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. TeamCat's Jorge Hitz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Hitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Felipo in the 43rd minute of the match. When Adolphe Covington came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rompeculos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolphe Covington couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolphe Covington made a kick off. Rompeculos FC's Adolphe Covington got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Adolphe Covington got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosendo Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Hitz having to interfere. When Rosendo Felipo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Rompeculos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosendo Felipo couldn't finish the play. Rompeculos FC played a much better game than TeamCat and deserved their victory. The TeamCat players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
