Maximino Hartz started the match with the kick off. Jairo Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6thth minute of the game Goyo Guerrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSD Jose Soldati's Anastasio Cordeal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artemio Gonchan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Bihar in the 8th minute. Anastasio Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goyo Guerrero in the 15th minute of play. Jairo Rodriguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goyo Guerrero in the 25th minute of play. Maximino Hartz hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Anastasio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Goyo Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmas's Artemio Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Barea in the 30th minute of play. Goyo Guerrero got in the 35th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anastasio Cordeal handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Barea came free, but Artemio Gonchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Fernan Bihar could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Artemio Gonchan however easily saved by the left post. When Jairo Rodriguez came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Palmas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Rodriguez couldn't finish the play. CSD Jose Soldati's Anastasio Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goyo Guerrero in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind CSD Jose Soldati's goalkeeper Anastasio Cordeal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Palmas's Artemio Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Hartz in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Goyo Guerrero made a kick off. Jairo Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Rodriguez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 72nd playminute. After having played for 80 minutes, Goyo Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goyo Guerrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Goyo Guerrero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anastasio Cordeal. The goal made the score 1-2. Anastasio Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goyo Guerrero in the 87th minute of play. Anastasio Cordeal made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Jairo Rodriguez sent off a good shot on target. If Goyo Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmas played a much better game than CSD Jose Soldati and deserved their victory. The CSD Jose Soldati players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
