El Fortin's Florencio Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Montxo in the 3rd minute of play. Raimundo Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Hibai might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Montay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Hibai ran back to his position shaking his head. Raimundo Montay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Hibai in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Socoscora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Estevez to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th match minute, Socoscora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Estevez to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Hibai's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Raimundo Montay skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Socoscora FC's Raimundo Montay got control of the ball when Laureano Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. El Fortin's Gaston Hibai got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florencio Carlomagno came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Socoscora FC's Santiago Montxo. But to his dismay, Santiago Montxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Antonio Palos scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florencio Carlomagno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Socoscora FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Santiago Montxo hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Maximiliano Duardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gaston Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Socoscora FC's Mariano Henrico suffered a sore thigh after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 47 minutes into the game, Juan Quintin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Fortin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Socoscora FC the free kick. After the first half Socoscora FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximiliano Duardo to make the kick off. Florencio Carlomagno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Duardo in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match, Maximiliano Duardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Florencio Carlomagno was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 56thth minute of the game Maximiliano Duardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Fortin's Florencio Carlomagno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Socoscora FC's Maximiliano Duardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florencio Carlomagno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Hibai in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Montay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaston Estevez's late challenge caught a El Fortin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Estevez helped the player get up and apologised. Gaston Estevez got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 71 played minutes Socoscora FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Estevez. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Antonio Palos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Socoscora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Palos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Carlomagno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Hibai in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Montay saved Socoscora FC from getting behind. Raimundo Montay came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by El Fortin's Rogelio Abechuco. But to his dismay, Rogelio Abechuco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Raimundo Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Laureano Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Gorka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Montay having to interfere. Alejandro Osoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Raimundo Montay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
