Jose Otsando ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute, Emanuele Bartolucci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Instituto de Cba. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 26th minute, Simoca's Mikolaj Mudry dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. If Emanuele Bartolucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Instituto de Cba. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Samuel Domiku shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

One of Simoca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Instituto de Cba.:s goal. 1-3 came through a penalty shot after 54 played minutes, when Instituto de Cba.:s Emanuele Bartolucci calmly waited for Simoca:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Instituto de Cba.'s Jose Otsando got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Instituto de Cba.'s goalkeeper Ciro Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Simoca booed when Instituto de Cba. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Remicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes Instituto de Cba. got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Remicio. Simoca's Mikolaj Mudry got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Mudry in the 95th minute of play. Instituto de Cba.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
