Ernesto Federigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tomate El Palo. A collision led to Tomate El Palo getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Patric Berglund hit a great ball. The supporters of Deportivo Clandestino F.C booed when Tomate El Palo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Matei didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Patric Berglund in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Clandestino F.C's Niceto Abilio. Ernesto Federigo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Gonzalo Justin sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Fitz Ferdinand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severiano Costante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pedro Setúbal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Deportivo Clandestino F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tomate El Palo:s goal. Felipe Sotil shot the penalty kick right outside the post.

Cecilio Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Federigo having to interfere. Ernesto Federigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Justin's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Ernesto Federigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Justin in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Cecilio Turi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Eustaquio Aritza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severiano Costante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 83 minutes into the game, Amadeo Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Clandestino F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tomate El Palo the free kick. The Tomate El Palo fans' excitement grew in the 99th match minute when Tomate El Palo's Gonzalo Justin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle went the supporters of Deportivo Clandestino F.C were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Tomate El Palo side.
