Zeledon Abilio was a little too slow when Julio Urtzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-1. Sebastian Erserman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Jorrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Atlético Santa Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Urtzi came free, but Zeledon Abilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Samuel Jorrin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 51st playminute. The supporters of Nacional Argentino booed when Atlético Santa Fe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Osoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes, Julio Urtzi made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Anton Elisei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fulgencio Jurdan hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Julio Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional Argentino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Urtzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Atlético Santa Fe FC booed when Nacional Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Tibalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Santa Fe FC's Felix Osoro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastian Erserman. That made the score 4-3 after 91 minutes of play. When the referee ended the match the Nacional Argentino players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
