Emiliano Txindoki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Sendoa came free, but Jurand Zawada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Cutberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Txindoki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Cutberto ran back to his position shaking his head. Sinsacate's Emiliano Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Ticho in the 20th minute of play. Sinsacate's Emiliano Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Sinsacate from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Eduardo Cutberto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emiliano Txindoki. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. Emiliano Txindoki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Ticho's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Sinsacate got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Fernandez. In the 33rd minute Nunez Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurand Zawada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Vladimiro Lorien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sinsacate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Eduardo Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Cutberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
