Augusto Papo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hilario Dominic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Augusto Papo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. las toninas's Augusto Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Dominic in the 12th minute of play. If Hilario Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute, Cleto Jerardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hilario Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Confesor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Rey during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Los Porteños FC booed when las toninas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Papo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Dominic's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Hong Ao Jie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, las toninas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Rey to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Hilario Dominic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Papo was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hilario Dominic in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Papo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, Cleto Jerardo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of las toninas's Augusto Papo. Augusto Papo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicanor Gudesteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Augusto Papo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Hilario Dominic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Papo was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 46th match minute, Los Porteños FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Leizarraga to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Los Porteños FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hilario Dominic to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Hilario Dominic made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Papo. las toninas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Augusto Papo came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Porteños FC's Cipriano Leizarraga. But to his dismay, Cipriano Leizarraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 74 minutes, Cornelio Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Porteños FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Oro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hilario Dominic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Papo having to interfere. Augusto Papo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Dominic's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Evaristo Confesor took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Augusto Papo to make any attempt to save it. If Arnoldo Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Los Porteños FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than las toninas throughout the match.
