Azul Acero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Iruinea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Florin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Silban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Florin was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Claudio Iruinea scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Florin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hermengildo Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Florin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Iruinea in the 42nd minute of play. When Hermengildo Silban came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Azul Acero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Silban couldn't finish the play.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Claudio Iruinea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azul Acero's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Iruinea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Florin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Azul Acero's Maximino Florin threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hermengildo Silban, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 77 minutes, Godofredo Grabiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jumial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Grabiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Claudio Iruinea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maximino Florin. Claudio Iruinea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Maximino Florin was a little too slow when Abelardo Veremundo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-6. 85 minutes into the match, Azul Acero's Hermengildo Silban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximino Florin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Silban in the 88th minute of play forced Jumial's goalkeeper Maximino Florin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Claudio Iruinea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximino Florin. The goal made the score 0-7.
