Justo Brun might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernan Bertran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Brun ran back to his position shaking his head. Deportivo 3 de Febrero's Fernan Bertran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo 3 de Febrero from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Deportivo 3 de Febrero's Fernan Bertran got control of the ball when Justo Brun tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 minutes, Joel Salomone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pulpera and the Deportivo 3 de Febrero players grew even worse after the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the game, Amador Espiridion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo 3 de Febrero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pulpera the free kick. After a rather tough play, Deportivo 3 de Febrero's Amador Espiridion got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Brun in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Bertran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernan Bertran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Brun's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Pulpera's Amador Gregory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Soin in the 86th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Deportivo 3 de Febrero eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
