In the 7th minute, Hipolito Iago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22ndth minute of the game Gaudencio Sarracino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sumamao AFC's Horacio Mogel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Octavio Eguerdi came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sumamao AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Urki couldn't finish the play. Gaudencio Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Horacio Mogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Zapallar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
