The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casimiro Dominix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Pirro in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yatay's zone, Paulino Pirro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Dominix came out of the goal and Paulino Pirro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casimiro Dominix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Orzaize went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute Paulino Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Dominix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Durazno de gala were awarded a corner. Blas Fernandes went to the cornerflag to take it. Blas Fernandes made a great header on Durazno de gala's corner, it was just that Yatay's Casimiro Dominix managed to reach the ball for a save. 21 minutes into the match, Yatay's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Pirro came free, but Casimiro Dominix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Nuxila kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes in the game Augusto Gilen got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Durazno de gala's Emil Brummer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Durazno de gala from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Pirro in the 34th minute of play forced Yatay's goalkeeper Casimiro Dominix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Paulino Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Dominix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Dino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Durazno de gala's Paulino Pirro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Casimiro Dominix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Pirro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Dino in the 65th minute of play forced Durazno de gala's goalkeeper Emil Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Augusto Gilen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Blas Dino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th match minute, Durazno de gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Francis to maneuver through the defense. Blas Dino might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Brummer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blas Dino ran back to his position shaking his head. Durazno de gala's Paulino Pirro got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casimiro Dominix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Francis in the 85th minute of play. When Durazno de gala's Paulino Pirro in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yatay's goalie prevented a goal. Paulino Pirro struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Casimiro Dominix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durazno de gala. The Durazno de gala players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
