Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Peio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Lizardi went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind WATUSI's goalkeeper Elvio Peio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atletico Thomas's Generoso Eate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Rios in the 25th minute of play. Elvio Peio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Harendarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Lizardi in the 30th minute of play forced WATUSI's goalkeeper Elvio Peio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Alejandro Lizardi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WATUSI's Elvio Peio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 minutes of play, WATUSI's Benigno Beturian made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Eate was left in no man's land by his defense there! 97 minutes into the match, Alejandro Lizardi notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of WATUSI's Elvio Peio. Elvio Peio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Club Atletico Thomas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than WATUSI throughout the match.
