The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes WATUSI got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Xabel. Elvio Peio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Kepa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, WATUSI's Rene Iago got a free kick in the 7th minute. Benigno Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Ledesma having to interfere. Elvio Peio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Kepa's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Freddy Rios came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the WATUSI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Rios couldn't finish the play. Cornelio Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Rios in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in WATUSI's zone, Julian Kepa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Peio came out of the goal and Julian Kepa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvio Peio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Kepa in the 37th minute of play. Elvio Peio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Kepa's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After 43 minutes of play, Brea's Julian Kepa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvio Peio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elvio Peio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Harriet in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Brea were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Kepa to make the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by WATUSI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teodoro Costante was slow to take the kick. During this time Brea's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Brea's corner Teodoro Costante fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elvio Peio quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Erubiel Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Cordaryal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Brea's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Beturian came free, but Cornelio Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Brea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Harriet to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Peio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Kepa in the 84th minute of play. After 85 played minutes WATUSI got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Rivero. 87 minutes into the game, Rene Iago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WATUSI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brea the free kick. In the 87th match minute, WATUSI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Iago to maneuver through the defense. If Erubiel Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Julian Kepa rounded WATUSI's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. Brea played a much better game than WATUSI and deserved their victory. The WATUSI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
