When CarioKa Qonda Team's Matias Ellande in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Club Atletico Thomas's Alejandro Lizardi got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miltos Pirovolakis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. Alejandro Lizardi might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everardo Tebaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro Lizardi ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, CarioKa Qonda Team's Pastor Chaime got a free kick in the 78th minute. Matias Ellande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karim Brahimi in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Eate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 92 in the game by Alejandro Lizardi from a close distance when the talented Everardo Tebaldo managed to make a qualified save. CarioKa Qonda Team's players were relieved.
