A wasted opportunity for Sparta FC. 11 minutes into the game, one of Sparta FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tejs Westrup had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Ermegildo Rencio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Sparta FC's Laureano Rexino in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Social y dep. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Rexino in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Sabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laureano Rexino scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norberto Sabino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Gustavo Oliveiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laureano Rexino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Norberto Sabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Sparta FC got a freekick which was hit by Filip Militaru. After a defensive mix-up in Sparta FC's zone, Ermegildo Rencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tejs Westrup came out of the goal and Ermegildo Rencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Serafin Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gustavo Oliveiro came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Social y dep. Melo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Oliveiro couldn't finish the play. Laureano Rexino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Sabino having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Sparta FC's Serafin Gotzon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norberto Sabino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Norberto Sabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Rexino in the 85th minute of play. Tejs Westrup was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elvio Donostia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 89 minute of play.
