To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Filip Militaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Laffitte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Tigre Asesino AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Gotzon came free, but Aurelio Laffitte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Militaru took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Laffitte. Aurelio Laffitte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Laureano Rexino charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laureano Rexino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Sparta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Rexino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Irrintzi in the 37th minute of play forced Sparta FC's goalkeeper Tejs Westrup to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tejs Westrup stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Piorno's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Sergio Piornos short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Tejs Westrup to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laureano Rexino was the one to do the kick off. Filip Militaru was slow to take the kick. During this time Sparta FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Sparta FC's Filip Militaru to fire away a dangerous shot which Aurelio Laffitte despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Sparta FC booed when Tigre Asesino AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match, Filip Militaru got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aurelio Laffitte was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aurelio Laffitte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 89 minutes into the match, Sparta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Irrintzi came free, but Tejs Westrup reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave Tigre Asesino AFC a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sergio Piorno, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sparta FC's Tejs Westrup. 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
